Acupuncture

Who hasn’t heard of acupuncture? But what is it really? And more important, can it help you?

Acupuncture is an oriental medical modality going back to at least 1000 BC and is the internal medicine of the East, while in the West most know it as used for pain relief.

In my clinic, I usually use hair-thin needles, and most of my patients most of the time say they don’t feel them go in. If they do, the feeling lasts a short time—10-30 seconds. The needles go in certain points that help balance the body.

I also do ear acupuncture with tiny gold needles to block pain centrally.
